An extensive extended voyage through Australia is being halted in the wake of the fatal incident of an elderly female passenger who was abandoned by the ship on a distant tropical isle.

The elderly woman had been walking on the remote island with fellow passengers from the cruise ship, but parted ways from the excursion for a break. The liner left without her and came back later that day after the personnel became aware the lady was not present.
