Incredible $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream
Following a short availability back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned for a limited time that lasts until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by a specialized software company throughout their history, the entire collection carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are three different bundles available here.
Primary Feature
The standout feature is certainly permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and most notably, tactical combat environments.
A regional fantasy map created using Campaign Cartographer 3+.
Bundle Tiers
Basic Package
The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Intermediate Package
The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from the company's long-running monthly subscription service which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.
Full Package
Starting at thirty dollars, the 39-item bundle includes all the following:
- Fractal Terrains 3+
- Dungeon Designer 3
- City Designer 3
- Cosmic Mapping System
- Perspectives 3
- Scene Builder
- Character Artist 3
- Fantasy Interior Symbols

- World War 2 Interactive Atlas
- World Builder’s Compendium
- Annual Volumes 1-17
- Permanent CC3+ Access
- Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities
- Comprehensive Mapping Guide
- Fantasy Landscape Symbols
- Monster Token Set 1
- Source Maps: Castles!
- Metropolitan Source Maps
All 17 volumes from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, dungeons, cities, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The sole limitation is that while you can redeem the deal on any platform, the software is only usable on Windows.
Philanthropic Aspect
Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options appear near the page top, but you can also select their donation amount on the right side of the page. Additionally available is an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, enabling adjustment of the distribution percentage goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
