A total of four studios are working on the game under the Battlefield Studios initiative.

This includes long-time producer Dice, based in Sweden, Los Angeles-based Motive Studios and Ripple Effect Studios in Canada.

Building On Earlier Mistakes

The new release comes off the heels of the sci-fi the last installment, launched in the past to a unfavorable response it struggled to recover from.

"It's likely that we would find it impossible to build and design Battlefield 6 lacking the insights we acquired in the previous title," the manager shares with us.

Among those lessons was to get the community engaged from the start, and the developers started closed player testing sessions earlier this year.

Their "feedback was extremely positive," states Rebecka.

A further missing component from the previous installment was a story mode, which has been brought back this time around.

The UK studio design director the design director is the individual responsible for "ensuring those missions are as fun and interesting as possible for the audience."

Regardless of claims that the scale of the project had challenged the different developers partnering across continents to create the title, he is upbeat about the process.

"Working with varied backgrounds, varied experiences, it's a really engaging atmosphere to be part of every day," he shares.

"This whole strategy has been something new but additionally very exciting because we are partnering with people from all over the world."

Regarding the pressure on the developers, he states: "We experience stress but also it's thrilling.

"It's a big venture. It's arguably the largest that many of us have before participated in."

New Talent Contributes Fresh View

This is certainly true of at least a single team member, VFX specialist the artist.

The recent hire produces the visual ambiance that influence the atmosphere, feel, and focus of the solo experience.
