Tracking a Venezuela-linked Oil Tanker 'Pursued' by American Maritime Authorities

Our team is analyzing images and video circulated earlier today that depict the scene of a alleged vehicle-borne explosive blast that Russian officials say killed a high-ranking soldier in Moscow.
Officials in Russia confirmed that Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov was inside the car that detonated and that he later died to his injuries. A probe is currently ongoing.
The initial step to verify the location from which the pictures were from was based on posts saying the blast happened on Yasenevaya Ulitsa in the southern part of the capital city of Russia.
We used street-view imagery on Google Maps and the Russian search engine Yandex Maps to match the distinctive yellow colour of a nearby apartment building seen in the footage.
Identifying additional buildings, lamp-posts and the street layout verified the exact location the pictures were captured.
Additionally, we verified that the videos were recent and that the visuals had not undergone digital alteration.
